OLA, Almost Alive
So I’ve been working on getting the site ready to make live. I just linked all of the appropriate links and am in the process of fine-tuning the kinks.
I’ve learned a lot from this whole experience so far. One huge help to me has been referring back to the (I can’t believe how wrong I was before)…Lynda.com. I know I bad talked it before, saying it was drab and talky, that it didn’t help me…when in reality, all I needed was a basic understanding of Dreamweaver, then I could follow what really was going on.
This whole assignment also inspired the learning of HTML coding b/c it makes life so much easier when you know it. You can do things that are that apparently possible by just going by Dreamweavers option. It proves VITAL to know it. I’ve been even taking a look at different site’s HTML, especially ones I find unique and interesting. Learning how certain things are accomplished this way, is pretty rewarding.
Anyway, check out the current standing of the OLA site, let me first warn you, the navigation is flaky. Some computers it looks/works fine, others, not so much. I’ll need to resolve that:
